Overview
Count Your Cash is a macOS menu bar app for viewing Stripe monthly recurring revenue. The app is designed to keep your configuration, synced revenue summary, and Stripe credential on your Mac. Count Your Cash does not run an app backend, does not use advertising, and does not include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
When you enable Stripe live mode, the app connects directly from your Mac to Stripe using the restricted API key you provide. Count Your Cash does not receive, proxy, sell, or share your Stripe API key or Stripe revenue data.
Who Provides This Policy
This policy applies to the Count Your Cash macOS app, the bundled desktop widget, and this website at countyour.cash. For questions, contact support@countyour.cash.

Stripe Live Mode
Stripe live mode is optional. If you turn it on, the app sends HTTPS requests directly to Stripe endpoints such as subscriptions and invoices using the restricted Stripe API key you save in the app. Stripe receives those requests and handles them according to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
The app currently requests read-only Stripe access for subscriptions, prices, products, and invoices. It uses that data to calculate and display local revenue summaries. Count Your Cash does not operate a server that can see those requests.
Keychain And Local Storage
The Stripe API key is stored in macOS Keychain using a device-only accessibility class. App preferences and widget summary values are stored in UserDefaults. The widget reads the local App Group values that the app writes so it can show the latest synced revenue glance.
Do not paste personal or unrelated sensitive information into the Stripe key field. The key field is intended only for a restricted Stripe API key.
Website Data
The website is a static site hosted on AWS Amplify and delivered through AWS infrastructure. Count Your Cash does not use website cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics scripts. AWS may process standard web request information, such as IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, and timestamps, to deliver the site, provide security, and operate the hosting service.
Support Emails
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, app version, macOS version, screenshots, logs, or a description of the issue. We use support emails only to respond to you, troubleshoot, improve the app, and maintain records needed for support and security.
Please do not send Stripe API keys, passwords, full card numbers, customer personal data, or other secrets in support emails.
Tracking, Ads, And Analytics
The app does not track you across apps or websites. The app does not show ads, does not use advertising identifiers, does not use third-party analytics SDKs, and does not sell personal information.
Data Sharing
Count Your Cash does not share app data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or marketing platforms. Data may be processed by service providers only where needed to operate the website or support channel, such as AWS for hosting and your email provider when you contact support.
When you use Stripe live mode, your Mac communicates directly with Stripe. Stripe is not receiving your Stripe data from Count Your Cash; it is responding to your authenticated Stripe API requests.
Retention
Your local app settings and local revenue summary remain on your Mac until you change settings, forget the Stripe key, reset or delete app data, or uninstall the app. The Stripe API key remains in Keychain until you choose Forget Key, remove it from Keychain, or erase the device.
Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to provide support, maintain business records, and protect the service, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Your Privacy Choices

- Use Stripe live mode only with a restricted read-only API key.
- Remove your saved Stripe API key in the app by choosing Forget Key.
- Delete local app data by removing the app and its local settings from your Mac.

Children
Count Your Cash is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International Users
Your privacy rights may vary depending on where you live. You may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal information that Count Your Cash controls. Because the app is designed to keep app data on your device, many app-data choices can be handled directly on your Mac. For support email requests, contact support@countyour.cash.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app changes. If the app begins collecting additional data, adding analytics, adding a backend service, or changing how Stripe data is handled, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated.
